Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said that changes in positions within the US administration do not affect or change Iran's vision of American hostility.
Commenting on the dismissal of US National Security Adviser John Bolton, Shamkhani said: “The administration's deep-rooted hostility against the Iranian people is deeper than the roles of a number of officials, and the coming, going, and presence in various positions in the White House will not change Iran's perception of the roots. Shamkhani added that Bolton's appointment as a national security adviser within the White House marked a clear development in the political and moral bankruptcy of the US government against the Iranian people, pointing out that his disgraceful expulsion from the White House is a defeat for the anti-Iranian plans.
