[Washington, 10 Reuters]-According to the US AP, the Republican Dan Bishop candidate, supported by President Trump, won the Federal House re-election in the 9th constituency in North Carolina.
The constituency was Republican ground, but Democratic candidate Dan McCredi was chasing up hard.
The voting rate at the 95% voter rate was 50.6% for Bishop candidates and 48.8% for McCready candidates.
Since the 1960s, Republican candidates have won seats in the constituency.
The re-election was conducted in response to the fraud in last year's election.
