Netanyahu annexation plans provoke rejection of Palestine

Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced plans to annex parts of the West Bank if he wins re-election next week. Netanyahu told reporters at a press conference that, if he is re-elected and can form a coalition, he would apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and north of the Dead Sea. All this is leading to energetic Palestinian protests that say this would bury the solution of two states and Antonio Guterres, UN secretary general, who said that this plan, if it becomes a reality, would have a devastating effect on negotiations between peoples of Israel and Palestine.
