The mere Candelaria. A melting pot of rhythms and sounds

Mera Candelaria is a popular musical project based in the city of Los Angeles. Stephani “La Mera” Candelaria is the first Chicana artist to mix tropical rhythms such as Colombian cumbia and Cuban son; with humorous lyrics that convey a clear feminist and inclusive message. This year, Stephani and his band were in charge of the opening of the Los Angeles International Latino Film Festival, known by its acronym in English, LALIFF.
