Eleven people were killed when a boat capsized in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday morning.
"The accident occurred when a boat with 16 people capsized during a religious ceremony in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and five others were rescued," Xinhua quoted media reports as saying.
Four children were killed when a boat capsized near the western coast of India in January last year.
