A military source said the army's artillery support force and the Popular Committees bombed mercenary gatherings east of Jahfan, confirming the death and injury of several of them.
Earlier in the day, a large number of mercenaries were killed and wounded as army units and commissions tackled unsuccessful advances east of the Dodd and in the Dair sector.
