Cuban MP renews support for Syria in fighting terrorism

Eusebio Layal Spengler, a member of the Cuban parliament and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, reiterated his country's support for Syria in its war on terrorism.

Spangler, the historian of Havana, during a meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Cuba, Driss Mia, praised the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorist organizations.

For his part, Juan Carlos Marsan, deputy head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, expressed his pride in the enormous sacrifices made by the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terrorism.

For his part, Ambassador Mia reviewed the latest political and field developments in Syria, stressing the determination of the Syrian Arab Army to pursue remnants of terrorist groups throughout the entire Syrian geography.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries.
