The Ministry of Local Administration and Environment (MoLAE) announced today the launch of the “Wasla” platform, which allows citizens to express their opinions and submit complaints related to the work of the ministry and its directorates in all governorates during a meeting of officials of the Ministries of Local Administration, Environment and Administrative Development.
The `` Wasla Wasel '' platform is an interactive electronic platform that allows citizens to evaluate and express opinions and submit complaints related to the performance of public authorities to address them.The Ministry of Administrative Development announced the launch of this platform in its stand at the 61st Damascus International Fair in cooperation with the Ministries of Public Works, Housing, Local Administration and Environment.
Minister of Local Administration and Environment Hussein Makhlouf explained during the meeting that the implementation of the project will start as of today at the ministry's directorates, pointing out the need to encourage the dissemination of the culture of opinion poll as a means to motivate the citizen to be a partner to develop the ministry's performance and services provided to him.
Makhlouf stressed working as a team with the Ministry of Administrative Development to implement the project, saying that "a quantum leap will develop work and reflected positively on the services provided to citizens."
Minister of Administrative Development Dr. Salam Safaf gave a presentation on the executive program document of the project and explained two of its applications “Sawa Anti-Corruption” and “Citizen Satisfaction” to serve the work of the governorates. And to enjoy the elements of efficiency and professionalism.
In a statement to SANA, the Associate Director of Administrative Support and Leadership at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Eng. Heba Al-Ghazoul, explained that the citizen can, through a link, submit complaints to the ministry and evaluate its work and services.
