Today, more than 2,300 students took the National Standardized Dental Exam '' September 2019 regular course conducted by the Center for Measurement and Evaluation in the Ministry of Higher Education for students of Syrian public and private universities and non-Syrian universities.
According to the Director General of the Center for Measurement and Evaluation, Dr. Maysoon Dashash, the applicants were distributed to 5 exam centers within Syria within the universities of Damascus, Aleppo, Tishreen, Al-Baath and Hama and through 3 access centers outside Syria in Germany, Beirut and Dubai.
Dashash pointed out that the exam included 120 questions that conformed to the academic reference standards `` Al-Nars '' and dealt with the axes of anesthesia, dislocation, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive and endodontic treatment, fixed and mobile compensation, pediatric dentistry, preventive orthodontics, periodontal diseases, oral diseases, radiology and preventive medicine.
Success in the standardized examination is a condition for graduation and a 60 percent mark is a condition for progression to postgraduate study.
