The temperature is higher than in the eastern, island and badia regions and around the rest

Temperatures tend to rise slightly to slightly higher in the eastern, island and badia regions, while in the rest of the regions they remain around their levels as the country is affected by a shallow south-eastern low-lying area accompanied by south-western currents introducing an upper-lower air layer.

The Meteorological Directorate predicted in its morning bulletin that the weather today between partly cloudy and cloudy over the northern, western and coastal areas turns to cloudy during the hours of the afternoon and evening to become the opportunity for rain showers of thunderstorms, sometimes heavy in those areas.

The winds will be westwesterly to southwesterly in the western and southern regions while southwesterly in the rest of the regions with moderate speed and light sea with high waves.

Tomorrow there will be a significant drop in temperatures to be about 1 to 3 degrees Celsius lower than in most regions. In the eastern and island regions, the temperature will remain higher than the average. Partially cloudy with the chance of thunderstorms in coastal areas, north-west and central regions. The Qalamoun area is sometimes heavy.
