OAS expresses discomfort at the decision of the Government of Nicaragua to prohibit the entry of agency officials

The airlines cannot allow Nicaragua to enter, nor can they board on their airlines bound for Nicaragua to the members of the OAS commission.

(CNN Spanish) - The Commission of the Organization of American States on Nicaragua, made up of Argentina, Canada, the United States, Jamaica and Paraguay, expressed this Sunday through a statement released on the agency's page, their discomfort at the decision of the Nicaraguan government prohibiting the entry into the country of its members and an official of the organization.

The General Directorate of Migration and Foreigners of Nicaragua, through a circular dated September 14, informed airline managers that as of that date, it is not authorized to enter Nicaragua, nor can they be approached in their airlines with to Nicaragua, the members of the OAS commission.

CNN requested information from the Government Communication and Care Directorate, which is coordinated by Vice President Rosario Murillo, through official channels, but they do not respond to our request for information.
