[London 14th Reuters]-British Prime Minister Johnson reiterated his decision to leave the European Union on October 31st, comparing himself to the comic character "Superhuman Hulk" on the night of the 14th.
In an email-on-sunday interview, the Prime Minister stressed that he would find a way to circumvent the legislation that Parliament recently passed a bill requiring postponement of withdrawal if the EU could not agree.
The prime minister mentions the comic characters, “The Hulk gets stronger when angry.” “The Hulk always escapes, no matter how tightly bound it is. Our country is the same. We will leave on October 31”.
The UK and the EU are stuck in negotiations over the border management issues between Ireland and British Northern Ireland. Nevertheless, Prime Minister Johnson expressed his “strong confidence” before the meeting with the European Commission chairman Junker, scheduled for 16th.
