Looking ahead to the Primetime Emmy Awards next Sunday, HBO leads the transmission networks and services with 25 wins, closely followed by Netflix with 23. (CNN and HBO share the parent company WarnerMedia).

The "Russian doll" of the transmission giant won three awards over the weekend, including photography and production design. The program is also nominated for Best Comedy Series, and Best Leading Actress, with Natasha Lyonne, and Best Screenplay for co-creators Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler.

Netflix scored another hit with “When They See Us”: cast directors Aisha Coley and Ashley Ingram won an award they dedicated to the exonerated “Central Park Five,” and the project director, Ava DuVernay.

Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" took home both prizes in the drama category.

In the reality show categories, RuPaul won his fourth consecutive Emmy as a reality show host on “RuPaul's Drag Race” on VH1. "Queer Eye" won four awards.

Anthony Bourdain won two posthumous Emmy awards for his CNN series "Unknown Parties," which he won for an informative series and a script.

Although winning an Emmy Creative Arts does not guarantee a victory in the Primetime Emmy, the event is a good indicator of voter sentiment within the Television Academy.
