Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said that Iraq's policy aims to achieve stability in the countries of the region and to act responsibly towards its crises.
"The Iraqi government has a clear vision of solutions and confronting internal and external challenges and is working hard for the rule of law and confining weapons to the state," Mahdi said during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Abdul-Mahdi said that "our balanced policy serves the stability of Iraq and all the countries of the region and we are acting responsibly towards the current regional crisis to preserve the interests of the peoples of the region and its countries. Iraq can not cause harm to its brothers and neighbors."
