The Jerusalem International Foundation (Syria) today inaugurated the "Jerusalem Library" in its headquarters in Damascus, based on the importance of scientific documentation based on proven and verified references to be an essential source for every researcher and interested in Jerusalem and Palestine.
The library includes maps, documents, manuscripts, books ranging from historical, political, literature, poetry, paper and electronic, in addition to the rich archive of the Jerusalem Foundation, specialized in Palestine as part of the collective memory of the Arab nation.
She added: "Our usurper is visiting history as his property and because we are rightful and reassuring we have not done our best to document our rights in all fields, forums and global sites." Documentation is part of the new awareness because identity, rights, history and the future of our children is the target.
Dr. Shaaban considered that the existence of libraries is an added value for Arab rights in all its forms in addition to its role in helping researchers, calling on them to contribute to the development of the library to be a specialized research center in living languages to inform the world about the reality of what is happening in our country and the crimes committed against Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and our people in Palestine. An effort to complete their struggle with their blood and bodies to preserve the Arab rights, stressing that it is time to give these areas the importance they deserve.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors Basil Jadaan explained that through the library will be attracted researchers and writers concerned with the Palestinian and Jerusalem to provide scientific and documentary content that stands in the face of Zionist claims that try to distort history and steal, stressing the importance of cultural and intellectual battle in the face of what is being woven to the Palestinian cause and the axis of resistance.
He pointed out that Damascus hosts all cultural, political, field and heritage work related to Jerusalem, pointing out that this library will provide references that enable researchers and those interested in Palestinian affairs to return. In addition to the electronic side that serves the purpose of creating the library.
