Cairo - Sana

Dr. Bassam Darwish, Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo, today offered condolences to the family of the Egyptian writer Magdi Al-Basyouni, editor of Al-Arabi newspaper, to the Secretary General of the Nasserite Party Ahmed Hassan and the party's leaders and to the general coordinator of the Egyptian People's Committee for Solidarity with Syria.

Darwish pointed out that the deceased was carrying messages of Arabism, which confirms his identity of resistance, where he stood as a warrior and scandalous terrorism through his writings.

The condolences were shared by Saud Abbas, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of the Syrian Arab Mission.

Egyptian journalist Magdi El-Bassiouni, editor of the Arab Democratic Party of Nasserite newspaper, died in the early morning after a struggle with the disease.

The late author of the books "Castle .. Aleppo from the hurricane to victory" and "the resistance story of a homeland" in which he testified about the resilience of the Syrians in the face of the terrorist war in different parts of Syria, revealing the crimes of terrorist organizations and targeting Syrians and the country's goods and capabilities and the complicity of the Turkish regime headed by Recep Tayyip Erdogan supports it, using a method that combines reporting journalism, literary narration, and direct preview.
