In a new escalation, an American RC-135W spy plane flew over South Korea to gather intelligence on the DPRK.
The plane was spotted in areas of Gyeonggi Province, north of Seoul and Incheon, the South Korean news agency Yonhap reported.
The United States recently stepped up reconnaissance flights around Seoul and its surrounding areas, while calling on Pyongyang to resume talks on denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.
Washington is continuing its provocative moves against the DPRK, including the joint military exercises it held last August with Seoul in a move that has escalated tensions in the region.
