[Seoul 17th Reuters]-South Korea approved a plan to exclude Japan from the “white country” to which export control incentives are applied on the 17th. Effective from 18th, trade rules for Japan will be tightened.
The Korean Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources stated in a statement that “It is not a retaliatory measure against Japan for the purpose of strengthening South Korea's export control system.”
Japan excluded South Korea from the White country in August.
