[Madrid Reuters]-The general election is expected to be held again on November 10 in Spain, where political blanks have continued since the April general election. Parliament is largely divided, and even after the re-election, there is no guarantee that a political power can be established by overcoming disagreements between political parties.
The Social Labor Party became the first party in the April general election, but none of the political parties were able to win a majority. Each party has been aiming to establish a government, but the gap is deep and discussions are difficult. On the 16th and 17th, there was a move to break down, but it ended badly.
Social Labor Party leader Pedro Sanchez said at the press conference on the night of the 17th that “the majority of the government has not been guaranteed, and a re-election is expected on November 10.”
Public opinion polls indicate that the Social Labor Party is expected to increase the number of seats, but the majority of the House of Representatives at 350 will not reach the majority.
