The stationery fairs opened by the Syrian Trade Branch in Homs during the last month on the occasion of the new academic year continue to receive citizens to secure their different needs of stationery and school supplies at competitive prices.

Imad Ndour, director of the Syrian branch of trade in Homs, said in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the total sales value since the opening of the exhibitions and until yesterday to 47 million Syrian pounds, pointing out that school supplies of bags, stationery and clothing are available permanently at fixed prices and cheaper than the market by 15 to 20 percent .

Ndour added: It was actually started after the Eid Al-Adha holiday by launching all commodities formations from a variety of stationery.He pointed out that Syrian Trade seeks to increase the size and effectiveness of its positive intervention in the market by offering competing goods in price, quality and installment sale to workers in the country.

During the past two months, four halls have been opened in the eastern and western Homs countryside and two lounges in the city.Nadour is currently working on opening three halls in the city within neighborhoods that have been terrorized by armed groups.

Regarding the role of the Syrian trade in the stationery market, Ms. Suhad Al-Shaer pointed out that she went to Al Karama Hall to secure the needs of her children from stationery where she found that prices are acceptable and lower than the market, indicating that she benefited from the installment service to secure all the needs of the school year. There is a wide variety to meet the needs and tastes.

For his part, citizen Noor Al-Ahmad pointed to the need to reduce prices by more and expand the composition of commodities and raise the ceiling of the loan and increase the period of repayment.
