Since the beginning of this year, the Consular Office in Sweida Governorate has provided 53,000 services to auditors.
The director of the consular office of Jane Naif Qatrab said in a statement to SANA correspondent today that the services provided included the certification of documents to be approved
She pointed out that Qatar has benefited about 1000 expatriates during the current year from the service of visiting Syria who are required for compulsory service for a period of 90 days, which can be extended in special cases, pointing out that work is currently underway to automate all transactions related to the consular office and electronic link with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
In September 2014, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants inaugurated the consular office in the city of Sweida, at the Citizen Service Center within the city council building to provide consular services and certify documents issued from outside and inside Syria, including civil status documents, summary of judicial record, internal documents, immigration, passports and documents issued by the Ministry of Justice. Study documents and health certificates needed by citizens to reduce travel and effort.
