Egyptian forces have eliminated nine terrorists east and south of the capital Cairo, including a leader involved in the killing of an Egyptian army officer.
A statement issued today by the Egyptian Interior Ministry, according to the site reported on the seventh day: "killed nine terrorist elements after an exchange of fire with the Egyptian forces during their raid raids in the cities of transit and May 15, including a leader of the Brigade of the Revolution."
The Egyptian Interior Ministry said in a statement that the terrorist leader was involved in the assassination of the armed forces Brigadier Adel Rajai and the ambushing of Al-Agaizi police in Menoufia, noting that terrorists were found in possession of automatic weapons, high explosive materials and explosive devices.
The Egyptian forces on the ninth of this month killed six terrorists during an exchange of fire inside the desert depth of the marine oases in the Western Desert in Egypt.
