Israel: Policemen shoot Palestinian woman at border crossing

The woman approaches slowly, a police officer yells at her, and then she shoots: A video on the Internet allegedly shows a Palestinian woman being shot dead by Israeli security forces at the Kalandia border crossing. She had tried to attack the security forces with a knife, said a spokesman for the police. Then the police had shot at her. The woman subsequently died in the hospital.

The Palestinian Authority confirmed her death. The border crossing leads from the occupied West Bank to Israel.
