(CNN) - Wednesday has been a great day for cyclones. There are six named storms that moved in the Atlantic, in the United States or in the Eastern Pacific.

They are:

Hurricane Humberto

Humberto, the second most important Atlantic hurricane of the year, is heading towards Bermuda as an expanding category 3 storm.

The powerful core of the storm is expected to pass Wednesday night north of the territory of the Atlantic island. The system is likely to hit the island with hurricane and tropical storm winds from Wednesday night to Thursday morning.

Imelda Tropical Depression

Imelda, which was a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico, caused flooding in parts of the Houston area on Wednesday morning as a tropical depression.

The storm is expected to shed large amounts of rain, perhaps up to 63 centimeters, on Thursday over East Texas.

Tropical Storm Jerry

Jerry, still hundreds of kilometers east of the easternmost islands of the Caribbean Sea, could become a hurricane Thursday night, the National Hurricane Center said.

It could approach the north of the Leeward Islands, including the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla, from Friday to Saturday morning, but it is too early to know if the islands will be affected.

Tropical Storm Kiko

Kiko, which was a hurricane in the Pacific, could become a hurricane again on Friday or Saturday, the National Hurricane Center said.

But it is not expected to affect the land soon, if it does.

Tropical Storm Lorena

Lorena, just off the southwest of the Pacific coast of Mexico on Wednesday afternoon, could become a hurricane before hitting the coast on Wednesday night until Thursday, the National Hurricane Center said.

Saturday's storm could reach the Baja California peninsula in Mexico.

Tropical Storm Mario

Mario was also in the Pacific on Wednesday, away from the coast of Mexico.

It is predicted that it will become a hurricane later on Wednesday, but it is not expected to have much impact on the earth in the coming days.
