[Berlin 18th Reuters]-German Industry Federation (BDI) said the EU should not allow postponement if the UK requested the European Union (EU) to postpone withdrawal without presenting a clear plan on the 18th Expressed his views.

BDI Managing Director Joachim Lang said in a reporter in Berlin, “If you do n’t have a clear itinerary, you should n’t just admit it again.”

He criticized, “especially postponement at the last minute is very expensive” and “the actions of the British government are alarming.
He also pointed out that the British government's plan to avoid unrequited withdrawal is not visible. For this reason, firms indicated that they had no choice but to assume that the UK would leave the EU on 31 October without a transition period.
However, disagreement withdrawal is the worst scenario for German companies, and this year's economic growth rate may drop to near zero.
