Sweida-Sana
The poultry facility in Sweida has produced 4.443 million eggs during the past two months, with an implementation rate of about 97 percent of the planned production.
The financial and administrative director of the facility Basil Hatem told SANA today that the registered production was fully marketed with sales amounting to about 135 million pounds, indicating that the establishment continues to put eggs material in the market and positive intervention to prevent its monopoly through the sales outlets in Sweida city and the branches of the Syrian Trade Establishment.
Hatem pointed out that the reality of work in the facility is going well despite the difficulties represented by the high prices of production requirements, especially feed materials and lack of labor.
The Suwayda poultry facility last month sold laying hens to citizens at nominal prices of 500 pounds per bird to encourage them to raise chickens.
