A Syrian child devises a project to illuminate roads with solar energy

Child Hayel Al-Salamah from Al-Suwayda governorate has succeeded in creating a solar and street lighting project from the environment.

The son of the village of Hoya told Sana correspondent that his project includes the replacement of devices that operate and are powered by electricity and hydrocarbons with solar powered ones.

Al-Salamah pointed out that he started to apply his idea of ​​his love of research and discovery, trying to collect all the available electronic parts and damaged old and recycled again to serve his idea until he succeeded in creating a solar street lighting device consisting of a light sensor and capacitors generators, battery and metal wires and accomplished a day One to be one of the first centers in Syria at Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention, which was held within the activities of the 61st session of the Damascus International Fair recently.

Along with his innovation, he implemented safety innovations, including the manufacture of a vacuum cleaner, an alarm system, a light signal, a counterfeit detector and other inventions that he participated in the Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention, hoping that his innovations will receive support and care to employ them in the service of his country.

Hanaa Al-Asaad, the mother of the child, pointed out that her son is diligent and permanent researcher and can implement any idea that comes to mind and all his innovations are due to his insistence on learning for himself. Since childhood, he dismantles toys and electronic parts and re-installs them again.
