New York City Mayor Bill Desbrão (58) has announced that he will withdraw from the campaign on the 20th in the fight for nomination of opposition and democratic candidates for the US presidential election in 2020. This is the sixth major candidate who has withdrawn, for a total of 19 candidates.
Debrassio said on the MSNBC TV show, “We did our best to fight this nomination, but it wasn't clear. We will end the presidential election.”
Mr. Desbrão announced his candidacy in May to sell his achievements as New York City Mayor, President Trump's hometown. He attacked Mr. Trump as “I know that Mr. Trump is a bullying person,” but sluggish in each poll. In particular, support was not widespread in New York, and the requirements for participation were not met at the third TV debate held this month.
