Handball at the Nawa'air Club continues to shine in the local tournaments where the club added a new title to its coffers by winning the junior team championship for the current season.

President of the club Abdelkader Mgmoma explained in a statement to the SANA sports correspondent that the handball in the club has a long history and a history of titles and tournaments since its inception, so it was expected to win the title of the league with the presence of distinguished players and administrative and training staff at a high level of experience and efficiency, pointing out that the club has achieved a championship The league handball for many years and various age groups also participated a lot in foreign tournaments and achieved good results.

He pointed out that the club pays much attention to the rules of handball as a substitute for the higher categories by providing the requirements of the game of equipment and training cadres, the achievement of local tournaments is always a concern when participating in the championship of any age group and this is an important factor in the success of the game in the club.

For his part, the supervisor of the game in the club Mohamed Younes said that all the teams of the club competed strongly for the title of the league championships for this season because the youth team had won the league championship this year, and the Cubs team like Hama team, which won the title of the fourth national Olympics in the junior category, while the team occupied Men's third place in the league championship.

Younes said that the club has a lot of training centers in Hama to discover the most promising talents and materials of young ages, pointing out that there are at least 150 players who practice handball in the club of all age groups.

In turn, the youth coach Azzam Katsav pointed out that the team won the league title as a result of understanding and harmony between the players in the final assembly in addition to continuous training and adherence to the directives of training, technical and administrative cadres and thanks to the presence of outstanding players will have a good future when they are promoted to the higher categories.

It is noteworthy that Nawa'ir achieved the league championship and the Republic Cup handball ten times and also participated three times in the first Arab Clubs Championship in 1983 in Algeria and won the third and second place in 1984 in Saudi Arabia and won the fourth and third place in 1985 in Damascus and achieved fourth place.
