TEHRAN (Reuters) - The United States should realize that US embargo policies and sanctions against Tehran have failed, Iran's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
Commenting on the new US sanctions against Iranian financial institutions, ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said the ban was not new and old sanctions were expressed differently and the Americans should accept that the sanctions policy against Iran is a failed policy.
Mousavi added that since the imposition of the first sanctions, Iran has found its way to overcome them and will continue to grow and develop based on its domestic capabilities and cooperation.
With friendly nations.
The administration of US President Donald Trump continued its unilateral coercive measures against Iran under false pretenses and fabricated yesterday, imposed a new set of sanctions on Iran, including the Central Bank and a development fund.
