Algerian ambassador in Damascus: Syria's steadfastness has failed plans to undermine its land and its people

Speaker of the People's Assembly Hamouda Sabbagh affirmed the depth of the Syrian-Algerian relations and the importance of strengthening and developing them in the interest of the two countries and peoples, expressing his hope to strengthen parliamentary relations between the two countries.

During a meeting with Algerian Ambassador to Damascus Saleh Bousheh, Sabbagh expressed his thanks to the ambassador for his duties and for his country's stances in support of Syria in its war on terrorism.

For his part, the Algerian ambassador stressed that Syria's steadfastness in the face of the conspiracy waged against it by Arab and Western regimes, as well as the unjust coercive measures imposed on it, failed the hostile plans aimed at undermining its land and its people.

In a statement to reporters, Ambassador Bousheh pointed to Syria's victories on terrorism, expressing his hope that Syria will return more prosperous and advanced than it used to be.
