Cape Town, a red zone

The dangers that lurk the inhabitants of multiple neighborhoods in Cape Town, South Africa, continue to increase over time. Villagers refer to their city as a war zone, in which even the paramedics themselves, who attend emergencies throughout the territory, have been threatened by groups outside the law. As of 2018, at least 80 ambulance personnel were targeted. The deployment of police forces in the area has been an attempt in vain to restore security and peace to thousands of families who have already lost their loved ones.
