The presence of foreign forces in the Gulf region would destabilize security and stability in Iran, the head of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) said.
"The enemies are wrong if they imagine that they can influence the will of the Iranian people by increasing the number of troops in the Gulf under the pretext of providing security in it," Larijani said during a meeting of the Shura Council. He stressed that attempts to form a maritime alliance in the Gulf will receive the fate of the so-called (deal of the century) fake.
He added that America and Saudi Arabia, involved in wars in the region in recent decades and reached a stalemate in their treacherous war against the oppressed Yemeni people, cannot compensate for their impotence by deepening differences over the nuclear deal with Iran.
The Supreme Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major-General Yahya Rahim Safavi, confirmed that the Iranian armed forces monitor the movements of US forces from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean.
In a statement to Iranian television, General Safavi considered that US President Donald Trump has no rational and behavioral balance and said: "International enemies want to impose their political will on the Iranian government and people through economic war, psychological warfare, cyber operations or soft war."
Safavi continued: "America knows that if it wants to create a problem for Iran, it will suffer more losses," pointing out that "America should get out of the region because its presence is a factor in destabilizing security and stability .. And with the exit of America from the region can its people and their governments Under comprehensive mutual cooperation. ”
Safavi pointed out that the most reasonable way available to the Saudi regime to get rid of its crises is to stop the war on Yemen and without it inevitably suffered further defeats.
