(CNN Spanish) - Spaniards Rosalia and Alejandro Sanz lead the list of Latin Grammy nominations with seven each for their productions "El Mal Querer" and "#ElDisco". This Tuesday, the Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 20th edition of the awards.

For the album category of the year, the nominated artists are: Andrés Calamaro, Rubén Blades, Paula Arenas, Luis Fonsi, Ximena Sariñana, Tony Succar, Sebastián Yatra, Alejandro Sanz and Rosalía.

Recordings of the year, the most important category of the night, include Marc Anthony with "Look Like Friday", Andrés Calamaro with "Sharp Truths", Vicente García with "There There", Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 with "Kitipun", Juanes feat . Alessia Cara with "Want Better", Juanes feat. Lalo Ebratt "La Plata", Rosalia with "Aute Couture", Alejandro Sanz feat. Camila Cabello with "My favorite person", Alejandro Sanz with "I Have Nothing" and Ximena Sariñana with "Coward".

In the category of best new artist the nominees were: Aitana, Burning Caravan, Cami, Fer Casillas, Chipi Chacón, Elsa and Elmar, Greeicy, Juan Ingramo, Paulo Londra and Nella.

Juanes, who will be honored the night before the awards ceremony as Person of the Year, received 3 nominations.

For this edition of the awards, Latin Grammy received approximately 15,500 entries in the 50 categories, for works published between June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019, according to a statement.

The winners will be chosen through a vote that will begin on October 3 and the winners will be revealed at a ceremony on November 14 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
