London (CNN Business) - KitKat chocolates are getting chic.

The Swiss giant Nestlé announced a luxury handmade version of the popular chocolate bar for the United Kingdom, in time for the holiday season.

The opulent chocolate bar allows customers to choose from 1,500 combinations of flavors and also presents a personalized packaging.

The new creation "KitKat Chocolatory" is not exactly cheap, as each piece will cost you 14 pounds (17 dollars).

In addition to mixing and combining flavors, customers can opt for British classics such as Eton Mess, Cherry Bakewell and Earl Gray.

Whiskey and ginger bars are also available, as well as a flavor that the company offers no description but calls "Jewels of the East."

"This is the most important news for KitKat since the introduction of KitKat Chunky exactly 20 years ago," Rabia Khan, Head of KitKat Chocolatory for Nestlé United Kingdom and Ireland, said in a press release.

It is not Nestlé's first attempt to anticipate changing tastes and trends of consumers.

Earlier this year he launched a new KitKat that distills its sweet taste of a cocoa fruit without added refined sugar.

And last year he saw the launch of a pink KitKat made with distinctive ruby cocoa beans.

"We know how much people enjoy experimenting with new and exciting flavors of KitKat and KitKat Chocolatory offers a completely new and premium KitKat experience, as well as the opportunity to create your own personalized rest and receive it directly at your door," Khan added about the new product.

Bars will be available at John Lewis stores across the country from September 26 until Christmas Eve.

In the United States, KitKat bars are made by Hershey under Nestlé license.
