(CNN Spanish) - Among chavista slogans, official deputies arrived at the Legislative Palace in Caracas to rejoin the National Assembly, led by the opposition, as part of the agreements reached by an opposition sector and government representatives of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro .

According to the vice president of the working class of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and deputy of the National Constituent Assembly, Francisco Torrealba, all deputies members of the bench were present in the Legislative Palace.

"We are here to rescue the spaces of dialogue, to help the reinstitutionalization of this power that destroyed the majority that has mishandled it so far," Torrealba said upon arrival.

For his part, the president of the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó, described the reinstatement of the official deputies as “water scarves” for the Venezuelan crisis. However, he said that the reinstatement of the official deputies is the implicit recognition of Parliament and added that he expects respect from the official deputies.

“That they respond to their people who voted for them. We are fighting to recover the right to choose legitimately and if it comes with sabotage, they will also be exposed to the world, ”said Guaido.

As part of the agreement signed by some opposition sectors with the Maduro government, eight technical dialogue tables were set up, Venezuela’s vice president Delcy Rodríguez said Monday.

The eight instances will address economic issues including the sanctions that have been imposed against Venezuela; political issues that include “institutional balance”; border defense issues, among others.

President Nicolás Maduro called on all Venezuelans to support the national dialogue, and said that these technical tables are a true will to advance solutions for Venezuela.

The congressmen who support Maduro left the National Assembly and declared it illegitimate in 2017, when Nicolás Maduro created a parallel legislative body known as the National Constituent Assembly.

In the past, Maduro threatened to dissolve the National Assembly controlled by the opposition.

Venezuela's opposition regained control of the National Assembly in 2015. The next parliamentary elections are scheduled for December 2020, but Maduro said that "soon" there will be parliamentary elections in Venezuela.
