The Excellence and Innovation Authority announced that it will continue to accept applications for the Young Researchers Competition, which has been awarded an annual prize named “Dr. Farqad Ramadan Award for Simplifying Science 2020” until December 15th.
In its announcement, a copy of which was received by the Commission, SANA noted that the competition includes scientific works that explain and explain in simplified ways concepts from basic sciences including mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
The award encourages young researchers to present their scientific research in the field of simplifying science by choosing a scientific subject.The researcher begins by explaining the concepts he uses in a very simplified manner and without assuming previous knowledge of the reader to understand the deep concepts targeted in his study and can ensure that his study advanced applications.
The Commission announced this award on the fifteenth of this month in gratitude and loyalty to the late Farqad Ramadan, one of the founders of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad, who held a number of administrative and scientific sites in Syria and trained national teams in the field of physics in the practical Olympics, leaving clear fingerprints and contribute to the preparation of a whole generation of outstanding students Some of them have won medals in international competitions.
