(CNN) - The questioned president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, gave a sword to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, during his meeting in Moscow on Wednesday for his support for Venezuela, Maduro published in his official Twitter account.
Maduro said that the sword is a replica of the one used by Simón Bolívar, the "Liberator" of the Americas.
“During the meeting with President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin, I handed him the replica of the saber that the Liberator Simón Bolívar used in the Battle of Carabobo, in gratitude for his support for Venezuela, and for his respect for the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples. ”says the tweet.

“I had a positive working meeting with President Vladimir Putin and his team at the highest level. We review the entire bilateral cooperation map and draw new routes for deepening the system of cooperation and exchange between our peoples, ”Maduro concluded in another tweet.
This Tuesday the president of Venezuela arrived in Russia for a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin, "to strengthen our historical and very positive relations of exchange and respect among our peoples," Maduro said in his Twitter account.
From Moscow said on Tuesday that they are “preparing the entire battery of the cooperation map” for the meeting that he described as very important with Putin and his team scheduled for Wednesday.
