Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Moscow on Monday ways of developing bilateral relations and regional issues.
Putin also discussed with Maduro during the meeting in Moscow the situation in Venezuela, including direct intervention by third countries in Venezuela's internal affairs, including elections, Russia's website reported today.
Venezuela is under US attempts to interfere in its internal affairs and destabilize it by tightening economic and financial sanctions and supporting right-wing forces in a desperate attempt by Washington to revive its plans to dominate the country, which possesses huge oil wealth and coup against the legitimate president using all means including violence and chaos.
