Rouhani: US withdrawal from nuclear deal violates UN resolutions

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the withdrawal of the United States of America from the nuclear agreement is a violation of UN resolutions, noting that his country will not negotiate with the US until after the lifting of unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Iranian people.

"During my current visit to New York, we have not reached a solution to the dispute with the United States over the nuclear deal," Rowhani told a news conference on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. “A European solution has been put forward, but it turns out that it needs US approval.

Asked about the US accusations against Iran over the attack on the Saudi regime's oil facilities, Rouhani denied any involvement in the attack and said Iran was not interested in providing any clarification about the recent attacks on Saudi Aramco and who accuses Iran of carrying out the attack on Saudi Arabia. Rowhani explained that the Yemeni people have the right to defend themselves and possess missiles and aircraft to deter aggression, calling on Western countries to stop the supply of weapons to Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on the non-granting of visas by the United States to officials from Iran, Venezuela and Russia to participate in the work of the United Nations General Assembly, Rouhani pointed out that the US administration has no right to obstruct or restrict the entry of countries' missions and exploit their hosting of the United Nations headquarters, pointing out that Iran will support the idea of ​​relocating UN headquarters From the United States to another country if it is raised in some context.
