(CNN Spanish) - The controversy that unleashed the announcement of the Latin Grammy nominations this Monday has dominated social networks this week.

Artists such as Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee and J Balvin, among others, protested what they say is the lack of presence of the genre among aspiring gramophones.
