Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Mogi met with Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wa in South Korea in New York on the afternoon of the 26th. The first Japan-Korea Foreign Ministers Meeting after South Korea decided to abolish the Japan-Korea Military Information Comprehensive Protection Agreement (GSOMIA) in August.
