Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Walid al-Moallem stressed that the foundations of the international relations system are exposed to an unprecedented danger, and increasing conflicts and threats to international peace and security and the chances of war before peace opportunities.

Minister al-Moallem pointed out that the Syrian people have contributed to defending all humanity, civilizational values, a culture of tolerance and coexistence in the face of extremist ideology and a culture of hatred and death that the terrorist organizations were trying to spread, adding that Syria is determined to complete the war against terrorism in all its names until its territory is cleared of it.
Al-Moallem added that fighting terrorism is not a priority for countries that remain silent about what other countries such as Syria face. It is not just for some people to make hollow statements and statements, noting that there are countries that invest in terrorism and use it as a tool to impose their suspicious agendas on peoples and governments that reject foreign dictates. This was evident in the case of Syria, to which tens of thousands of foreign terrorists had been brought.
Al-Moallem explained that he missed the minds of the supporters of terrorism that if they continue in their approach, terrorism will return stronger than it was and threaten everyone without exception even its supporters and investors.
Al-Moallem pointed out that Idlib province has become the largest gathering of foreign terrorists in the world. Will any country, if suffering such a situation, abandon its right and duty to protect its people and liberate its area from terrorism, stressing that Syria has dealt positively with initiatives to resolve the situation in Idlib It has been granted more than the time required for implementation in the hope that this will contribute to the completion of the elimination of terrorism.
