During the meeting, Minister al-Moallem stressed Syria's commitment to cooperate with the United Nations to launch the work of the constitution discussion committee, which was evident in the various meetings held by the UN special envoy to Syria, which concluded the establishment of the committee. The results of its formation should operate freely and free from any external pressure or interference in its work from any party, considering that it is a constitutional committee under the purely Syrian leadership and ownership in accordance with the procedures agreed with the United Nations, noting at the same time that any reckless step or action is carried out. In turn, the Secretary-General welcomed the formation of a constitutional discussion committee, noting that the formation of this committee, which is organized and led by the Syrians themselves, could mark the beginning of a political road towards resolving the crisis in Syria, stressing that the United Nations supports the efforts of the UN Special Envoy to Syria to facilitate the Syrian-Syrian dialogue. .

Guterres expressed his hope for the return of security and stability to all Syrian territories and the restoration of Syria's important position in the Arab world and the region, calling for respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants held a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babich and discussed with him ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields and the role that the Czech Republic can play in the reconstruction process, in addition to the developments in Syria and the region and efforts to return the displaced and refugees to Their home.

Al-Moallem reviewed the political and field developments in Syria and the efforts exerted by Syria to end the crisis, pointing out that the continuation of external interference would prolong its duration, stressing Syria's determination to liberate every part of its territory from all kinds of terrorism, occupation and illegal foreign military presence.

Al-Moallem praised the historical relations between Syria and the Czech Republic and the balanced Czech stance on the situation in Syria, calling on the Czech Republic to exert efforts to lift the EU's illegal and unjust coercive sanctions on the Syrian people and welcomed the Czech participation in the reconstruction process of the terrorist war on Syria.

For his part, the Czech Prime Minister reiterated his country's position to find a political solution that would restore security and stability to Syria and to preserve its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

Babich noted that the Czech Republic wants Europe to be more involved in resolving the situation in Syria and the region and to play a positive role in this regard. It welcomes the formation of a constitutional discussion committee that should work independently and away from any external pressure or interference in its work. Any positive effort in this regard, as well as in any effort to help the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.

Al-Moallem also discussed with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif the latest political developments on the Syrian arena and in the region, as well as the strong bilateral relations linking the two brotherly countries and the necessity of their continued coordination and consultation at various levels.

Al-Moallem expressed Syria's appreciation for the positive and constructive role played by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria and the region and its assistance to Syria in combating terrorism. In the face of attempts to dominate the sovereignty and independence of the two countries.

For his part, Zarif gave a presentation on the recent meetings held to discuss the situation in Syria, in which Iran participated in its work, stressing the commitment of the Islamic Republic of Iran to permanent coordination with Syria and to provide all forms of support and assistance to strengthen the resilience of the Syrian people in the face of projects targeting the region and to congratulate Syria on the victories achieved The Syrian Arab Army has recently been fighting against terrorism on behalf of the entire world.
