The Supreme Council for Economic and Social Planning has set initial allocations for the state budget project for next year by 4 thousand billion Syrian pounds compared to 3882 billion for the 2019 budget.The spending in the investment and current two parts is focused on the good management of available resources and their use for development.
The budget project included 83,416 job opportunities in the administrative and economic sectors and 50 billion for reconstruction.
The value of social support amounted to 373 billion distributed on flour, agricultural production, oil derivatives and the National Fund for Social Aid.
The Council decided to open the amount of support to the agricultural and industrial sectors to provide the requirements of food security and the restoration of industrial facilities and support for domestic products and targeting foreign markets and decided to continue to establish strategic projects in the sectors of electricity and oil.
He stressed that the next phase will see an improvement in the development process, which reflects positively on the economy in all its components and the need to focus the ministries of services to make the best use of resources allocated to them and the rehabilitation of stalled institutions and expand the investment base to improve services provided to citizens.
The Council discussed the investment and current allocations of all ministries and their plan for next year and the importance of focusing on the development and production dimensions.
