British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has rejected allegations of abuse of office during his time as mayor in London. "I am very, very proud of everything we have done, and certainly of what I have done as mayor of London," said the head of government on Sunday at the BBC's Andrew Marr show just before the start of the congress the Conservatives in Manchester. He had kept to the rules.
Johnson was Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. He is accused of having favored the American businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri at this time. It is about funding and traveling, from which the entrepreneur friend of Johnson is said to have benefited, although she did not meet the necessary conditions.
Arcuri, who lives again in the US, rejected the allegations. The Sunday Times reported Sunday that Johnson had had a relationship with the ex-model.
Police supervision decides on investigations
The London City Administration is currently investigating the case. There was evidence of a crime, it was said by the authority. But that is not yet proven. Whether it is determined, the police would have to decide.

In the BBC interview Johnson missed his successor in the mayor's office, Sadiq Khan of the opposition Labor Party, a side blow: The should as mayor of the British capital rather take care of the police officers than in press spokesman to invest.
Johnson is currently also because of his verbal attacks on courts and the parliament in the criticism. In late September, his sister, respected journalist and novelist Rachel Johnson, accused him of "tasteless" rhetoric. Previously, Boris Johnson's younger brother Jo had resigned his office as Secretary of State and also his mandate as a Member of Parliament for the Conservatives.
Johnson plans to lead the UK out of the European Union on 31 October, even without an agreement, even though it bans him from adopting a new law.
