Sayed Al-Shati Body Building Championship concluded in Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia today with the participation of 50 players representing most of the governorates in addition to the Central Police Club.
The police team led the overall standings with 212 points followed by Damascus with 114 points, while the championship of the weights resulted in the victory of the police players Mohammed Nasser and Mohammed Rifai and Mohammed MP and Mustafa Ziti 65, 80, 85 and 95 kg respectively, while the Damascus players Zuhair al-Sharif, Mohammed al-Habash, Anas Edelby and Wissam Mohammed Weights 75, 90, 100 and above 100 kg, while the player of Damascus countryside Ibrahim Ismail first weighed 70 kg.
Supervisor Manar Heikal said in a statement to SANA Sports Representative that the tournament witnessed wide participation and strong competitions for the presence of elite champions with outstanding achievements in the Arab and Asian countries, adding that the first place will be included in the national team to participate in the forthcoming foreign benefits.
