Arab and Egyptian politicians and media unanimously agreed during a symposium in solidarity with Syria organized by the Arab-Islamic Egyptian grouping to support the resistance option in Cairo yesterday that Syria's steadfastness in the face of the conspiracy against it proved right to adhere to the approach of resistance and confront the forces of global hegemony.
The General Coordinator of the Rally, Dr. Jamal Zahran, said in a speech during the symposium entitled "New Balances in the Region .. Cracking the US hegemony project and the rise of the resistance project" His partition agenda over the region and the elimination of Arab nationalism.
For his part, Egyptian journalist Amr Nassif said: "Syria's resistance and resistance have withstood the aggression and conspiracy and won." He called for holding the resistance line, while Egyptian journalist Osama Al-Dalil stressed the need to stand by the Syrian state in its war on terrorism.
In turn, a member of the General Secretariat of the Arab and Islamic Community Jamal Abu Aliu said that "national armies serve as a national fence that brings the people of the homeland against enemies", while political sociology professor Dr. Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, director of the meeting pointed out that Syria is a symbol of resistance with its legendary steadfastness in the face of conspiracy aggression. He targeted the region, pointing out that Syria won and stressed that the resistance is the only way and the right way for our nation in light of the plots facing it.
For his part, Lebanese journalist Nasser Qandil expressed confidence in the Syrian Army's victory over terrorism, pointing out that Syria's steadfastness in confronting the conspiracy against it failed the hegemonic plans that targeted it and the region.
Dr. Bassam Darwish, Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Egypt, stressed that Syria has always stood in the face of conspiratorial schemes on the region and that the Syrian Arab Army defends by confronting the conspiracy against his country for the whole Arab nation.
The audience listened to a recorded audio message from the Dean of the Syrian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, Sedki al-Maqat, calling for restoring Arab solidarity and sticking to the option of resistance.
