The Egyptian Interior Ministry announced today the killing of 15 terrorist elements in an exchange of fire with police during their arrest in northern Sinai.
A statement issued by the ministry said that the National Security Sector received information about the hiding of a group of terrorist elements in a farm located in Al-Hoss neighborhood, “Al-Obour area”. Targeting their positioning range An exchange of fire took place between the two sides killing 15 of those elements.
Nine automatic rifles, three cartridge rifles, improvised explosive devices and explosive belts were seized by terrorists, the statement added.
