Participants in a conference organized by the Turkish People's Republican Party (CHP) called on the authorities of the Recep Tayyip Erdogan regime to withdraw Turkish troops from Syrian territory and stop supporting terrorists, especially in Idlib province, demanding a reconsideration of all its policies towards Syria, which poses a threat to Turkey.
The final statement of the conference, which was attended by representatives of the Democratic and Good Peoples Party and more than 40 political, media and academic figures, as well as representatives of civil society organizations, affirmed that the various regional and international interventions in Syria contradict the resolutions of international legitimacy. He raises many serious questions.
Over the past years, the Erdogan regime has supported terrorist organizations in Syria with money and weapons, set up terrorist shelters on the border and bought Syrian oil from ISIS, which is on the international terrorism list.
The statement condemned the actions and policies of the Erdogan government in the Syrian island region, calling for the withdrawal of Turkish troops from northern Syria and cooperation with the Syrian state and all its legitimate institutions within the framework of good-neighborliness policy and guaranteeing the territorial integrity and full sovereignty of Syria.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants has repeatedly stressed that the presence of US forces and any foreign military presence in Syria without the consent of the Syrian government is a described aggression, an attack on Syrian sovereignty and a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and principles.
On the other hand, participants in the conference expressed their support for efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria through political routes through the Astana, Sochi, Geneva and UN resolutions, stressing the need to reject any external interference in the work of the Constitution Discussion Committee and the need for collective action to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees displaced by terrorism. Cooperation between the countries of the region to solve their problems.
